my baby is having an infection in her gums and the dentist(not pediatric)recommended applying metrogyl dg gel. but as I searched, it's totally not safe for a 2.5 year old. what should I do please give me suggestions

Then I would recommend you to visit a paediatric dentist because if you have seen and you believe on what you have read on Google then it would be better for you to consult a Doctor Who is a paediatric because they will be able to help you with the right gel to to apply
