Yes there are two reasons first they are temporary hair and the second is that there is cradle cap in the head of the child which is a dead layer of skin so when the skin gets eliminated from the head it takes a lot of hair sometimes which is very normal which is as per Indian tradition we do recommend you to clean the head of the child one time
