Q.
My baby is going to be 1.5 years in a few days. I breastfed him since his birth. now I have started the process of weaning. can u pls suggest a medicine to stop milk production

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, there is no need to take any medicines to stop breast milk. The weaning should be a slow process so that it will not affect yourself and baby. The milk production also will go less. So first try to reduce the number of feed in the daytime by introducing a solid Food and cut off that time breastfeed. And then once you completely stop breastfeeding during daytime then you can concentrate on night time. If you stop like this then there is no need to take any medicine to stop breast milk.
