Once your baby turned six months old and you can start giving solids and water to your baby. In starting few days give everything in a fluids form like Dal Ka Paani, rice water, vegetable soup, fruit puree. Within a time you can increase more item in babies regular diet plan. And baby should take at least four meals in a day.
