Q.
my baby is few days ago going her grand nani home.now she has tonsil and cold. how I cure , she has more tonsil problem and doctor says 3 months old baby not required medicine,what can I do please help

Are you people giving formula milk apart from breastmilk? if yes and recommend by Doctor then give warm, not cold, wash the bottle properly ,soak for 10- 15 mins in hot water even the nipple, as babies get the infections mostly from parents/ caregivers with whom they stay, so breastfeeding mother should not take cold things like ice cream, cold drinks, cold juice etc and spend long hours doing work in water.Giving Antibiotics to so small baby is actually not good, you all use mask if have cold, cough etc. as it spreads to them, babies immunity is weak.For tonsils there will be pain, swelling, in the throat so to relieve pain and fever just give Paracetamol drops, according to age advised by doctor, because due to pain only baby cannot drink milk and will cry. Avoid AC rooms with babies. It will heal , visit the Doctor also.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 7 m old boy6 days agoA. Hello my dear parent! You cannot really use any kind of home remedies or over-the-counter medication for such a small child. Considering the severity of the condition, only the doctor would have advised you the correct treatment. If required, maybe you can take a second opinion from another doctor.
