you have to provide plenty of water to drink and you can give food ricxh in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multivitamin supplements to increase the appetite.

This would reduce the heat instantly also Let the cloth not be too cold. Keep monitoring for temperature. If the temperature is more It's better to check with your doctor and follow his advise. That would be the best and safest option.
