my baby is completing 4 months and he has got six fingers on his right hand. And he is not opening his right thumb. Doctors has done multiple tests at the time of birth and everything was normal. kindly help

A. Hello, your baby boy is 4 months old and he is having a polydactyli on right hand and he doesn’t open his thumb so mostly it’s a sign of raised brain pressure and he needs mri after opinion of neurologist

A. Polydactyly is a condition in which a baby is born with one or more extra fingers. It is a common condition that often runs in families. The extra fingers are usually small and abnormally developed. Polydactyly is one of the most common congenital (present at birth) hand abnormalities.
