Q.
my baby is born premature, he is having PDA of 1.67mm , how much time it takes to close PDA.

MouMom of a 4 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. pda close within 48 hours of birth if not colsed than it is a serious issue for heart. it will never close automatically. Consult with pediatric cardiologist as soon as possible otherwise your baby will suffer badly. Don't avoid it.

There Can be no surety for that it would completely depend on the growth and development of the child so I will not be able to tell you anything for sure in this case your child and monitoring of the progress of the child can only give you a guidance on the issue
