Q.
my baby is about 6 minths old, he has got severe fever in head, and he is very restless, what should i do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can fbe again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again requiredf and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

If The fever is on the higher side then you start doing cold sponging on the entire body give paracetamol to the child as well and also lastly I want to advise you to consult your paediatrician for a check up in a proper course of medication for the same
