Q.

My baby is a preterm baby 30 weeks born. According to birth month he is 7 months 18 days old but according to due date he is 5 months old. My concern is he is not able to control his neck *properly*πŸ˜”. I am giving him tummy time then too not able to see any improvement. Please help me, I am very much worried. Is it nrml or not? and his weight is 6.3 kgs.

A. wait for few weeks more. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

A. A child can have a total control of its neck by the age of six months since your child is a premature child it could be 7 to 7 1/2 months also because a little bit of delay can be seen with premature kids so it is not a problem and also the weight gain is very good as of now
