my baby is a preemie with birth weight of 1.7gm. now she's in her second month what is the ideal weight for this month?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is born prematurely and her birth weight was 1.7 kg and now if she is well fed and given calcium vitamin d3 then at 2 months her weight should be 2.4 kg

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much if baby is active and having feed properly and please give your baby doctor prescribed food supplements and vitamins and baby should be doubled the birth weight in first six months at least. But in your case as baby is premature then treating doctor can give you better idea about it.
