Q.
my baby is 9monyhs old now. she got fever, evry 4hours getting 100° , visited doctor gave only paracetamol and Cefodoxin medicine. today is the 2nd day. still fever was not controlled. suggest me some medicines for my baby.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. please continue the same medicines for another 2 days Fever is the response of the body against foreign infection like virus bacteria etc no need to use any medicines unless the temperature is more than hundred degrees

When Your doctor has advised you to give a medicine you can continue with that if you want to this is the only option still buy the 72 hours of time if the fever does not subside completely then you should go for a blood test for the child but as of now you should continue with the medicine suggested by the doctor and also you can do cold sponging on the body
