Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. A baby starts clapping or waving once he or she is 9 to 10 months old. But there is no need to worry. Different babies achieve different milestones at their own pace. Give your baby frequent high fives as this helps reinforce hand eye coordination and teaches your baby that slapping palms together is a way to show that something good has happened. Work on clapping at different speeds to make the practice funny and exciting as babies love variety and unexpected events. Play music and clap along to the rhythm. All the best.
