Q.
my baby is 9 months old and only breastfeeds and eats solids. she doesn't drink any other milk. I have resumed work so I breastfeed her every morning and evening after I am back from work. during the day she eats solids. what should I do ? should I try and introduce formula at this point or is it ok ? doc has suggested multivitamins

Nisha RastogiMom of a 1 yr 8 m old girl10 months agoA. hi dear yes you can start Formula milk .. if mother is not able to breastfeed or mom is working formula is a healthy alternative . I'm also mixed feed to my baby. My pediatrician personally suggested to give Dexolac stage 2 It is enriched with 36 essential vital nutrients that are good for their healthy growth.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy10 months agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Yes you should start formula milk for the baby. If, after trying everything, your baby still staunchly refuses to take a bottle from anyone, then don’t try to force her. Take the bottle away and offer it again every half-hour until she drinks. Babies can be stubborn and she may hold out for an hour or more, but once she gets hungry, she’ll take her bottle.Try having someone other than mom offer the bottle. ... Try offering the bottle when the baby is not very hungry. ... Try feeding the baby in different positions. ... Try moving around while feeding the baby. ... Try allowing the baby to latch onto the bottle nipple herself rather than putting it directly into her mouth.
