Q.

My baby is 8 months old. I started giving him solids from the month of 5. He is eating multigrain porridge with some sugar. Should I not giving him salt or sugar at this age? Need suggestion from the experts

A. better to avoid use of salt n sugar in baby food till 1 year of age. it us better to add little amount of organic jaggery. take care.

A. Salt is okay you can give jaggery instead of sugar as white sugar is not recommended to be given to the child for at least up till the age of 12 to 13 months after that also if you want you can avoid completely it’s completely your choice after that
