my baby is 8.5 months old and from last 1 week he poops 5-6 times in a day although he is very active and doesn't seem like anttjimg wrong should I take him to Dr ?

frequency smell and colour of the stool is not important if the child is not having any complaints and the growth of the child is proper and the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.f
meet the doctor if the child is having complaints and the consistency of the stool is either hard or totally watery. f

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It might be due to teething in the baby. Please give homeopathic medicine BC21 to the baby. Also massage baby gums with clean cotton cloth. Please give Econorm sachet to the baby twice a day. Please give light food items like khichdi or daal paani to the baby. You can also give jeera rice with curd to the baby. Also increase water intake of the baby. Please give coconut water to the baby to keep the baby hydrated. Thanks and take care
