Q.
my baby is 7 months old. He had fever and cold. he lost 100gms in his weight no dehydration. he passes stool and urinates 8 times minimum a day. what cause of his weight loss and it will be increase after he is back to normal.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyreticsf analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation wougld be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
