Q.

my baby is 7 months old doctor has asked to give mashed potato, apple and steamed banana? how much quantity should I need to give? how to steam banana? How to give apple? please guide on this. Also in mashed potato can I add some water? ,so that it will be easy to feed if it is little bit watery consistency

A. yes cab add water to make desirable consistency.Steaming keeps more of the nutrients in. steam the food in a little bit of water just until soft enough to puree. Also, use the water the food is cooked in if necessary during pureeing. This is important because a lot of vitamins and nutrients seep out into the water while cooking no need to steam banana, feed ripe banana

A. You can actually go ahead with mashed potato usually just take some butter but some mashed potato into it add some milk light tone pasteurised milk you cannot and you can prepared by adding a pinch of salt and black paper into it and fruits you don’t have to steam them at all just give it in the form as they exist in the nature you can make a fruit milkshake or any other healthy recipe that you can combine with milk with fruits
