A. It’s common for babies around 7 months to be hesitant about solids as they’re still getting used to new tastes and textures. Keep offering a variety of soft, mild-flavored foods like mashed vegetables, fruits, and cereals without pressure. Try feeding at calm times when your baby is not too hungry or tired, and continue breastfeeding or formula feeding alongside solids. Be patient and consistent—sometimes it takes multiple tries before a baby accepts new foods. If refusal continues or your baby isn’t gaining weight well, consult your pediatrician for advice.
