Q.

my baby is 7 month old his head is quite more hot than other body parts, actually he caught by fever I m visited doctor n he gave ibuprofen syrup n said it's viral fever. but still my son's head is quite hot..is there any complications due to this, please answer

A. You can also apply coconut oil frequently .. it will help

A. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no o need to worry about the warm head palm and soles. you havee to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100f or more. the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas which is normal.

A. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
