my baby is 7 month old he is suffering from loose motion from last 5 days no use of medicine..n nw we checked his stoll ...n it's indicating Pus Cells is 26-28/hpf..what it mean is it very serious?? please let me know

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. your child is having acute gastroenteritis most preferably bacterial for which antibiotics will be needed so kindly remain in contact with the doctor who will provide you proper medicines for the same

Sowmya MMom of 4 children3 years agoA. hello actually it indicates very severe infections or better to check with your doctor itself which can be treated with some antibiotics it takes a little time so better to check with your doctor and kindly monitor and also follow as per your doctor's advice
