There can be a few reasons why your 7-month-old baby is suddenly crying at night, even if she is not hungry and has had enough milk during the day. 1. Teething: Your baby may be teething, which can cause discomfort or pain in the gums, making it difficult for her to sleep. 2. Growth spurts: At around 7 months of age, babies undergo a growth spurt that can lead to increased hunger and changes in sleeping patterns. 3. Changes in routine: Changes in your baby's daily routine, such as starting daycare or a new caregiver, can cause anxiety and disrupt their sleeping patterns. 4. Illness or discomfort: Your baby may be crying due to illness or other discomfort, such as gas, diaper rash, or a fever. 5. Separation anxiety: Separation anxiety can begin to develop around this age, making it difficult for your baby to fall asleep or stay asleep without you. 6. Overstimulation: Your baby may have become overstimulated during the day, making it difficult for her to relax and fall asleep at night. To help soothe your baby, you can try to create a calm and comforting sleep environment, establish a consistent bedtime routine, offer a pacifier or other soothing object, and provide gentle massage or cuddles. If the crying persists or you are concerned about your baby's health or wellbeing, you should talk to your pediatrician, who may be able to provide additional advice and support.
