My baby is 7 month old and not on breastfeed. Can we switch to animal milk?

A. Thanks for the reply. We are a bit skeptical about the formula milk as it might contain chemicals. That's why we are thinking of animal milk.

A. Hello Father, Cow's milk should only be given after 9 to 12 months of age. Before that, foods such as meat, meat alternatives and iron-fortified cereals should first be introduced to provide the infant the iron it needs for growth and to avoid any onset of anemia. It's best to wait until your baby is a year old before introducing buffalo milk in her diet. Buffalo milk is rich in vitamin A, has a higher protein value and contains more iron, calcium and phosphorus than the cow's milk. ... It is better to introduce buffalo milk slowly. Go for formula milk as of now.
