my baby is 7 month his weight is now 5.8kg and his birth weight is 2.9kg is he gaining correct weight or not??

babies monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight. and later it triples by age of 1.
Introduce the baby to weaning foods now which should be including semi solid and mashed foods and alter with your feed
