Q.

my baby is 7.5 month old i am not getting enough breast milk to feed him apart from solids i am giving him..what shall i do ? how much quantity of milk is to be given to this months toddler?

A. Massage your breasts before feeding. Breast compressions also help. Try to feed your baby more frequently as more the demand is, the supply becomes more. Eat a bowl of oats and sabudana. Include garlic, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, drumsticks, green leafy vegetables in your diet. Ask your doctor whether you can take any herbal supplements to increase breast milk production. Along with solids, a baby at this age should have atleast 2 sessions of breast feeding per day.
