Q.

My baby is 6weeks old we vaccinated him today But at injection spot it’s swollen. When should we put ice on it today or tomorrow

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection fsite. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyondc 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. You can do it when there is swelling. But If it continues, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
