my baby is 6cmonth and half old he's weight is 6/half is he gaining.the normal weight???

A. Dear parent, weight of 6 and half kg is normal for 6 and half months old baby, do not worry. Baby’s weight would also depend on the birth weight. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months.

A. Hello good afternoon ! Generally by 5-6 months baby double their birth weight.. Check if baby doubled his/her birth weight. According to age your baby is in Ideal range nothing to worry. Start semi solids once a day and rest of the day milk either breastfeed or formula milk. Fruits and vegetables puriees, mashes,home made cerelac, dal kichdi, oats, sooji porridge, idly, Ragi porridge use ghee/cheese/butter Avoid sugar, processed, packed foods.
