Q.
My baby is 65 days old.. he is pooping only once in a day. and after that he is trying and pushing to poop, but he can't and he was crying at that time. is it is anything to fear, what can i do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time.
It can be more than 7 times per dayy also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also.
The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the smell of the stool
Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal

Neelam sharmaMom of a 15 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. this is totally common in infants some babies will pass stool 3 to 4 times in a day while some pass once in few days all are fine . there is nothing to worry
just massage baby's tummy gently with oil .
also check if baby is taking proper feed and he is hydrated
