my baby is 6 months old. she was completely on breast milk till now it's being a week only since I have started giving apple juice to her, But nowadays she is pooping in green color. what's the reason for green poop and if any remedy that I can do

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Green coloured poops are nothing to worry about. They resolve on their own. Green coloured poops are due to consumption of formula milk, iron supplements etc. Even if the mother has consumed green leafy vegetables like spinach and capsicum, babies can have green stools if the baby is breast fed. Only when the stools are too watery with a foul smell, then there is a need to contact your doctor.
