A. stage 2 needs to be started after completing of 6 months and starting of 7th month.
Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given
after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk
after completing 7 months you should start with Semi solid food like vegetable soup for fruits purry and then slowly move on for solid food so that the babies digestion remains good

A. For a 6-month-old baby, it's generally recommended to switch to Stage 2 formula. Stage 2 formulas are designed to meet the nutritional needs of babies from 6 months onward, including different levels of nutrients and ingredients to support their growing bodies and development.
**Here's why Stage 2 formula is preferable for a 6-month-old:**
1. **Nutritional Needs**: As babies grow, their nutritional requirements change. Stage 2 formulas are formulated to provide the appropriate nutrients, including higher levels of iron and other minerals, which are crucial at this age.
2. **Digestibility**: While both Stage 1 and Stage 2 formulas are designed to be easily digestible, Stage 2 formulas are tailored to suit the digestive system of older babies.
3. **Developmental Support**: Stage 2 formulas often include additional ingredients to support the development of bones, teeth, and the immune system, which are important as your baby starts to become more active and might begin eating solid foods.
**Conclusion**: It is best to switch to Lactogen Stage 2 for your baby now that he is 6 months old. However, if you have any concerns or if your baby has specific dietary needs, it is always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician before making any changes to your baby's diet.
