Q.

My baby is 6 months and 9 days old.. I started giving her semi solids like fruits and veggies from 6th month.. Now I hv started giving her ragi, banana powder, oatmeal porridge.. But my baby girl face becomes small when she has ragi malt.. I'm so worried about that.. But she is very active and weight is 6.6kg..So,i have a doubt whether ragi and oatmeal decreases the weight of the baby?

A. Hello ma’am Ragi is a little difficult for a child to digest so I would advise you to stop giving it for the time being and started after the age of eight months or something when your child is more friendly and familiar with other food that you are giving and after 8 to 8 1/2 months you can introduce ragi again
