ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear parent, for your 6 months old baby, you can give foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.
Beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times in a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.

Hello mom this age you can initially start with liquid consistency foods and as the baby gets used to it you may gradually move to semi solids and mashed foods . Initially start with just few tsp and as the baby accepts it well you may increase the quantity and variety and number of meals and alternate it with your feed
