my baby is 6 month 17 days old her motion is very hard

A. Small babies stool frequency varies as they grows. They may pass stool once in 10 days ,or may pass 10 to 15 times a day in small quantities, golden yellow in colour froothy in nature.so nothing to worry till it associate with abdominal distension, lethargy. may insert pediatrics glycerin suppository. offer him home based cereals based pulses enriched energy dens food in between fruit and vegetables

A. hi dear If your child is straining while making a bowel movement, this may be a sign of constipation. Constipated babies often produce very hard, clay-like stools. Hard stools can be difficult to pass, so they may push or strain more than usual to pass the waste. They may also be fussy and cry when having a bowel movement.
