Q.

My baby is 6 days old. My nipples are flat, so my baby is not latching properly and not taking breast milk. If I use a nipple shield, will it help my baby feed? After some days, can my baby learn to latch directly without the shield?

A. Hello! My cousin had a similar issue and was advised to used a nipple shield while breastfeeding. Maybe you can try using Babyhug nipple shield. With time your baby might learn how to latch without the nipple shield as well, you need to check with your doctor.
