ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. if baby is comfortable and digesting well its ok
give at least 3 hour gaps for adequate digestion and assimilation
After your baby has completed 6 month of age, you can gradually start weaning foods.
Keep in mind that weaning is a gradual and time taking process and baby takes time to switch to foods, other than breast milk.
You can start with rice porridge, Ragi porridge.
Also you can give mashed fruits like chikoo, banana, papaya, pureed Apple, etc. You should avoid giving animal milk to the baby before he is 1 year old and also avoid salt and sugar for him till that age.
Simple homemade foods which are easy to digest fresh ,Cerelac nestum can be offered.
keep giving water also after 6 month complete and breast feeding to be continued too.
