Q.

my baby is 6.5 months old..Have started solids with her...but she is severely conspitated.. how much gripe water should I give her...and when..??

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you cant give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medicationst are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. Hello dear parent! Gripe water is not recommended by many of the doctors. Better to check with your doctor before giving it to your baby. Keep giving sips of water in between meals to maintain hydration and reduce constipation. Continue to breastfeed. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy
