Q.

My baby is 5th month old, I am not sure whether need to increase her FM portion or not? I am giving her 2oz in every 2 hour and she is having that. also she is having BM( but my flow is very low).please suggest what should be the portion of FM?

A. Hello good afternoon !! It depends on baby's present weight and digestion capability. If baby is peeing normal, increasing weight ideally then don't worry . From 6 month onwards you can start semi solid foods once or twice a day and rest of the day milk either breast feed or formula feed. If baby is more than 5 kg then you can give 65-70 ml+ per feed . Increase 10ml and check digestion capability if baby easily burps and playing actively after feed then give 65-70ml for a week and gradually increase other 5-10 ml..
