Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. they are respiratory secretions which is present in the narrow respiratory tract of the child.
the sound of ghar... ghar.. is present when air passes over these secretions in the narrow respiratory tract.
if the respiratory rate of the child is within normal limits and the child is not having any other complaints do not worry about the sound which is present due to respiratory secretions.
if you feel that the child is having some difficulty in breathing you can always givce nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity which will wash away the mucus present in the nasal cavity as well as the respiratory tract.
the proxblem improve with increasing age of the child when there is broadening of the respiratory tract .
Jasmine Shiny DsouzaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi mom.
slight noisy breathing is quite normal because of the narrow nasal canal and if the baby doesn't have much issues with that then no need to worry.
noisy breathing is because of nasal congestion.
use nasal saline drops just before the feed , two drops into each nostril.
you can give steam to the baby two times a day which will also helps in relieving nasal congestion.
Babyhug Nasal Aspirator is very good to use after using nasal drops to suck out the secretion inside nose.
