A. Doctors recommend waiting until a baby is about 6 months old to start solid foods. Starting before 4 months is not recommended. At about 6 months, babies need the added nutrition — such as iron and zinc — that solid foods provide.

A. Hello good evening !! Until 5 complete months exclusive breast milk or formula milk is suggested for babies. From 6 month onwards start semi solids once a day gradually twice a day and rest of the day milk either breastfeed or formula feed. Fruits and vegetables puriees, mashes, cerelac, sooji, porridge, idly, soups check suitability before introducing new food item.
