Q.

My baby is 5 months old. Till 4 months her monthly weight gain would be 600-700 gm. I’ve noticed that this month her weight gain is 400 gm. Is this normal? Baby is active and healthy. Does weight gain reduce after 4 months?

A. Namaste Mom It reduces so not to worry , monthly weight gain is expected to almost be in range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight
