My baby is 5 months old . He got coldand having runny nose. What to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper ehgvaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever igs there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sinarist Five drops can be given to the child you just have to go ahead with the paediatric drops for the child you can give it to times in a day for minimum three days and maximum five days if your child gets Complete relief in three days and you should not be continuing with the medicines
