Q.
my baby is 5 months 8 days.she is not taking feeding properly.she is always keeping her all the fingers always.may I know the reason why she is not taking feeding properly?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. Burp properly after each and every feed for at least 10 min or till baby take 4 burp. Give Tummy time 4-5 times in a day time If still issue persist then Give colic aid drops 0.5 ml (if needed). Maximum 4times per day.

Babies have natural rooting and sucking reflexes, which can cause them to put their thumbs or fingers into their mouths — sometimes even before birth. Because thumb sucking makes babies feel secure, some babies might eventually develop a habit of thumb sucking when they're in need of soothing or going to sleep.
