Q.

my baby is 5 month old. her food intake reduced from 4 th month inwards and still she consumes comparatively less kike 500ml in a day max. her weight is 6.3 kg. till 3 months her food intake was good but now reduced. is this normal? what to do? she is on breast plus formula milk

A. Your Baby is Teething. Beginning at 4 months to 6 months of age, eating less can be a sign of teething. If you think your baby's teeth are coming in, give him a cold washcloth to chew on and ask his doctor about pain relievers. Oftentimes, teething babies may develop a low-grade fever, accompanied with extra sleep.
