My baby is 5 month old and he never plays on his own...As we put him on mat or bed he started crying ...he always wants to be held ...if i give him any toys...je plays for few seconds and then again starts crying

Basically your child is just got used to staying in the labs if you want to break this habit keep your child on the mattress or wherever and then keep playing with your child that was slowly even the child is crying for a while try to keep entertaining your child your child learns to be by itself for a while
