my baby is 5 month 24 days old, my question is trimethoprim and sulphametaxazole syrup used to treat cough in babies? as paediatrician prescribed this for my as she has cough and cold I am attaching the pic also please answer.

A. babies 5 months old avoid any type of self medication in case of a small baby also if order pediatrician is advisor medicine then you can safely give it in the prescribed dose for baby
