my baby is 4month old, I am suffering from cough and cold from last 3 days,during care nd taking baby wearing doubled layer mask full time even in night also how to protect the baby from cough cold nd what remedies wil have to use for baby

2) do Steam inhalation
3) take Turmeric Milk or Kesar Milk if you are exclusively Breast feeding Your baby

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be uygiven to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello when you are near baby wear mask and also you should take necessary precautions and wash your hands frequently which can be of help and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better
