my baby is 48 days old today she got vacancies. can i use ichthammol glycerin b.p.c for pain?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. not needed when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling youx can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and if there is pain then it is better to give bay doctor prescribed paracetamol syrup and also you can apply ice pack on baby effective skin. Take care
