Q.
my baby is 45 days old. today she is going for vaccination ( 6 weeks). does she will face any pain or fever? please suggest any medicine.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximudm 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continuexs beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
