A. Gray or yellowish poop in a formula-fed newborn can be normal, especially during the first few days of life. This type of stool is often referred to as meconium, which is a sticky, tar-like substance that consists of materials the baby ingested while in the womb. However, if this type of stool continues beyond the first few days or if you notice any other concerning changes in your baby's stool, such as blood or mucus, it's essential to consult a pediatrician. These could be signs of an underlying issue, and a healthcare professional can provide guidance and ensure your baby's health and nutrition are on track. Always consult a healthcare provider if you have concerns about your newborn's stool or overall health.
