Q.
my baby is 4 months old.due to iron drops his tongue turned dark blue or blackish in colour.how can i clean it?? cleaning needed??

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician5 years agoA. I parent your kid is 4 month old and has been taking iron drops,it is common to see Black discoloration or constipation in babies on iron drops.you can have infants brushes with smooth brussels on it

SindhuMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. its normal dear. my baby's tongue also turned black after giving iron drops and i showed to paediatrician and they told that its completly normal coz of giving iron drops. gradually when iron drops is stopped it will go away. not to worry

Manali K MehtaMom of a 9 yr 8 m old boy5 years agoA. Hi parent I suggest you please consult with your pediatrician about this matter because physical examination of child is important for proper dignosise and treatment you can clean your child toungue with clean cotton cloth after medication
